CCCU has been giving out the Bonus Dividend for over two decades. Starting in 2001, and whenever financially feasible, our members have received a cash deposit from the credit union based on their participation and involvement with CCCU.

After review of CCCU’s financial health for 2022, the Board of Directors have announced approval of the Bonus Dividend payment to qualified members!*

On January 27, 2023 we will announce the exact Bonus Dividend amount. In preparation for this announcement, we want to hear about your previous Bonus Dividend payments:

*All primary members in good standing on December 31, 2022 are eligible for the Bonus Dividend. CCCU shares excess earnings with member/owners in the form of better rates, more free services, and bonus dividends. The Bonus Dividend is declared by the board of directors; there is no annual guarantee.

Every member is different, the Bonus Dividend is based on the daily average balance and longevity of your accounts. You must be a member in good standing with an open membership savings account on December 31 of the prior year. A member in good standing means: a) minimum of $50.00 balance in the membership savings account b) no loan delinquency exceeding 30 days past due c) no charge-off balances and d) no foreclosures.

Commercial Member Peter M.: CCCU Helped Me Expand My Business!

Peter has been a Clark County resident for six years and a CCCU member since May of 2022. Peter initially joined the credit union with a business account and said, "CCCU believes in me and my vision. I went to a lot of banks to get the financing I need for my company [Sol Aerial Surveys] and there was no one like CCCU who looked at more than just the numbers.”

Peter was originally an accountant, then a commercial airline pilot, and is now a small business owner who runs an aerial survey company. “I combined those passions and started my own aerial mapping business almost five years ago,” Peter said. “We operate a fleet of eight small twin-engine prop planes throughout the United States and Canada.” Outside of work, Peter enjoys going on runs, hikes, and playing rugby.

In this past year, Peter said, “CCCU allowed me to expand the business by financing the infrastructure I needed to grow with the purchase of a hangar at the North Las Vegas Airport. This has laid the foundation for our growth and will give us a home here in Las Vegas for many years. Building my business is my dream and this is a pivotal moment along that journey.”

A Year of Caring: Giving Back to Our Community

As a local business, giving back to our Southern Nevada community is important to Clark County Credit Union. The employee-led CCCU Cares Committee organizes volunteer and philanthropic opportunities for CCCU employees and members throughout the year.

In 2022, CCCU gave back to an array of non-profit organizations including member programs such as the Smart Start Scholarship. In addition, many other positive initiatives kicked off in 2022:

• CCCU donated to 21 local non-profit organizations
• Our staff presented 12 Financial Wellness presentations/webinars for all age groups in Southern Nevada
• CCCU employees gave back almost 150 hours of Volunteer Time
• The credit union provided 10 local students with a Smart Start Scholarship for higher education
• Members and employees supported three local schools with much needed school supplies
• The CCCU team helped 12 local elementary and high schools with Financial Education tools

As we ring in the new year, the CCCU Cares committee plans to continue advancing financial wellness for all, providing service opportunities for our members and employees, and expanding community initiatives to help our local non-profits.
