This year’s school supply drive was a resounding success, thanks to the generosity of our members and community partners. We are particularly grateful to the employees at Timet for their generous donation of $500, which played a significant role in our efforts, as well as the many CCCU members and employees who also generously donated.
CCCU collected over 6,500 school supplies and distributed them into 43 boxes of donations for four schools, in addition to 118 reams of copy paper to be donated to the following Title 1 schools:
The supply drive aimed to ensure that students have the essential tools needed to start the school year on the right foot. Donations poured in from all corners, with contributors dropping off supplies at our six branches or making monetary donations.
Essential items collected included composition notebooks, backpacks, pencils, crayons and more. Each donation, regardless of size, helped pave the way for a successful school year for many local students.
